Vet Tech & Caregiver for all Felids

I love all cats, big and small alike! I have worked with cats for over a decade. I am a zookeeper at the San Diego Zoo and a veterinary technician at a small animal vet hospital. Throughout my career I have cared for cats in animal shelter and hospital settings, snuggled kitties in their homes, and even worked with several big cat species at the zoo! I’ve provided medical care for cats with a spectrum of needs including oral and injectable medications, diabetic monitoring and insulin administration, and subcutaneous fluids. I even cared for a kitty who needed his bladder expressed several times a day. I think my animal care and veterinary experience is very helpful for cat sitting responsibilities and that my passion for cats makes me the purrfect cat sitter.

Patience and Commitment to Stress-Free Care

I grew up in a household with people that were allergic to cats, but the second I could care for one on my own I adopted my first kitty, Mac Daddy. Over the years I’ve learned to read cat body language very well. I have a tuxedo kitty named Pico who is all cuddles at home but a bit feisty when it comes to medical care. I always have patience with cats since they each have their own agenda. :) I try my best to alleviate any stress a cat may experience by understanding their favorite toys, treats, and cuddles. I am excited to meet your purrbabies and build bonds making new kitty friends.
