Aspiring Veterinarian with a Passion for Purrs

I have been a cat lover since I was 6, when my mom brought home my first two kitties. From then on my passion just grew and grew. I am now a senior pre-vet student at UCSD preparing to apply for vet school. My cat Lucky Smudge is my best little study buddy. We share our apartment with my dorm-mate and her cat who I get to kitty sit all the time. I have also been working for the past year as a veterinary assistant to get more experience working with pets. To tell the truth, the days I enjoy the most at the clinic are when the majority of our appointments are with cats.

Strong Understanding of Cat Body Language

I have studied cat body language a lot. I know how to approach cats and understand the needs they’re communicating. I'm known to attract cats and even normally shy cats approach me. My boyfriend's cat doesn't even come out when his mom is around (they live together) but came out on the second day of meeting me. I'm very proud of this! I believe that cats can sense good or bad vibes, and they just know that I love them like crazy. My lifelong dream is to own at least one cat of every color during my lifetime. I feel honored to be able to care for your majestic, beautiful felines. I am excited to meet you and your kitties!
