I started professionally cat sitting in 2022 because I love spending time with different kitties and exploring their purr-sonalities. I'm committed to showing up on time and dedicating ALL of the visit's time (I set up a timer) to the cat's love and care. I’ve volunteered at cat shelters and fostered cats and kittens for about 17 years. I’ve always been a cat person. I currently have two cats, Barnabas Collins (tuxedo) and Rupert (orange tabby), and they are the meowdels for my upcycled cat accessories brand, Purrfashion. Our IG is @purrfashioncats. They are both leash trained and Rupert has gone camping with us. Barnabas is still in training.

Trained to Speak Cat  

Fostering gave me the skills to understand different cat behaviors. I’ve learned how to be respectful of each cat's personality and will approach new kitties by giving them the choice to be pet. One of my clients was sure her "extremely skittish" cat would hide when I came in. I asked her to meet me outside so I could enter the house quietly. When we approached her cat, I made myself small and extended my arm out without making eye contact. The client could not believe the cat approached me and touched my hand! It was a very rewarding moment. I’m excited to meet you and your kittos and am looking forward to discovering their purr-sonalities too.
