Terms of Service

Agreement of Services

Tabby Manor agrees to provide cat sitting and other applicable pet care services in a reliable, caring and trustworthy manner. In consideration of the services and as an express condition thereof, the Client expressly waives and releases Tabby Manor from any and all claims against the company, its owners, employees and representatives, except those arising from negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Tabby Manor.

 

The Client agrees to notify Tabby Manor of any concerns within 24 hours of completion of services.

 

The Client agrees to pay all charges accrued for services rendered. The Client understands that payment is due in full within 48 hours of commencement of services unless supplementary payment terms have been explicitly agreed upon between the Client and Tabby Manor.

 

The Client will incur a $25 charge for each returned check in addition to any and all bank fees attributed to the returned check.

 

Cancellation Fee

Tabby Manor does not charge a cancellation fee. This cancellation policy is subject to change at Tabby Manor's discretion.

 

 

Refund Policy

Tabby Manor will refund you for any services that are not completed. Simply notify us of any changes via email at allpurrs@tabbymanor.com, or call or text us at 858-251-8281. We will update your invoice and initiate the applicable refund for unused services.

 

  • For invoices paid via credit card or ACH, the refund payment will be applied directly to the credit card or bank account used in the original transaction.

  • For invoices paid via alternative digital means such as Venmo or PayPal, the refund payment will be sent back to the account used in the original transaction.

  • For invoices paid via cash or check, an account credit will be applied. 

 

Refunds typically take between 3 - 7 business days to process, but may take up to 30 days. This refund policy is subject to change at Tabby Manor's discretion.

 

Loss or Injury Caused by Pet

The Client accepts responsibility for all medical expenses and other damages resulting from an injury to the Pet Sitter, other persons, or other animal(s) caused by the Client’s pet(s) or negligent act. The Client agrees to indemnify, hold harmless, and defend Tabby Manor in the event of a claim by any person injured or otherwise damaged by the Client’s pet(s) or negligent act.

 

Pet Care Agreement

Tabby Manor shall exercise all precautions against sickness, injury, escape, loss, accidents or death of the Client’s pet(s). Tabby Manor is not responsible for sickness, injury, escape, loss accidents or death of the Client’s pet(s) unless caused through negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Tabby Manor.

 

The Client agrees that all pets will remain secured indoors when Tabby Manor is not on the premises. If for any reason the Client elects for pets to be allowed outdoors unsupervised at any given time, the Client understands such action is again Tabby Manor's advice and therefore expressly waives and releases Tabby Manor from any and all claims against the company, its owners, employees and representatives in the event of sickness, injury, escape, loss, accidents or death of the Client’s pet(s).

 

The Client represents and warrants that pet(s) are currently vaccinated in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations.

The Client is responsible for supplying the necessary equipment and supplies needed for the care of their pet(s) including, but not limited to, a sturdy, well-fit carrier in case of emergencies, pet food, medications, identification tags, litter boxes, cat litter and cleaning supplies. The Client authorizes any purchase of necessary items for the satisfactory performance of duties. Costs of all purchases and related service fees will be reimbursed to Tabby Manor within 14 days.​

 

 

Veterinary Release

Should a pet become sick or injured, the Client authorizes Tabby Manor to transport their pet(s) for care to their selected primary care veterinarian, any emergency veterinarian, or to the closest open facility.

 

The Client understands that Tabby Manor will try to contact them as soon as possible in the event of a medical emergency. In the event the Client cannot be reached during a medical emergency, the client approves veterinary care charges for their pet(s) in the amount designated within their Portal pet profile. The Client gives permission for the clinic to administer any care or medications which they deem necessary.

 

In the unlikely occurrence of a life-threatening event, the Client agrees to notate CPR wishes for their pet(s) within their Portal pet profile. Tabby Manor agrees to relay such wishes to the attending veterinarian.

 

The Client assumes full responsibility for any and all veterinary service payments, including but not limited to diagnosis, treatment, and medical supplies. The Client also assumes responsibility for all fees assessed by Tabby Manor for emergency transportation, additional care, supervision, or hiring of emergency caregivers, as applicable. Such payments will be made within 90 days of when the services were rendered.

 

The Client agrees that they have the authority to make health, medical, and financial decisions regarding the pets booked on their reservation and/or appointment.

 

This agreement grants permission for future veterinary care without the need for additional authorization each time Tabby Manor cares for one or more of the Client’s pets.

 

Emergencies and/or Natural Disasters

In the case of an emergency, inclement weather, or a natural disaster, the Client authorizes Tabby Manor to use reasonable judgment for the care and well being of Client’s pet(s) and residence. Tabby Manor will make reasonable efforts to maintain service during these conditions but reserves the right to adjust the schedule of service based on the sole discretion of the Pet Sitter.

 

In the event of an evacuation, The Client authorizes Tabby Manor to transport their pet(s) to the closest designated safe facility. Tabby Manor will attempt to contact the Client to arrange transfer of care. If the Client cannot be contacted, the Client authorizes Tabby Manor to place the pet in a licensed kennel and/or to keep the pet in the care of the Pet Sitter until the pet can safely be returned to the Client. The client assumes full responsibility for all fees assessed by Tabby Manor for emergency transportation, additional care, supervision, or hiring of emergency caregivers, as applicable. Such payments will be made within 90 days of when the services were rendered.

 

Property

This document gives Tabby Manor and its representatives authorization to enter the Client’s listed address as needed to perform agreed upon services.

 

The Client agrees to properly secure the home prior to leaving the premises. Tabby Manor will re-secure the home to the best of its ability at the end of each visit.

 

The Client expressly gives Tabby Manor the authority to employ a locksmith on their behalf and to promptly reimburse Tabby Manor for all costs incurred in the event of a malfunction of the lock, keys or automatic door opener.

 

Tabby Manor is not liable for any loss or damage in the event of a burglary or other crime that should occur while under this contract.

 

Tabby Manor is not responsible for any damages beyond the control of the Pet Sitter.

 

Key Handling

If the Client provides the Pet Sitter with a key and/or key fob, it will remain in the possession of the Pet Sitter for the duration of the reservation and/or appointment unless alternate arrangements are explicitly agreed upon between the Client and Tabby Manor. 

 

The Client may elect to allow Tabby Manor and/or the Pet Sitter to keep a copy of their key(s). The key(s) will be returned to the Client at any time at the Client's request.

 

Tabby Manor agrees not to make additional copies of the Client’s key(s) unless explicitly authorized to do so by the Client. 

 

Promotional Marketing Agreement

Unless otherwise stated, the Client authorizes Tabby Manor to use photos and/or videos taken of the Client's pet(s) on website, social media and digital and/or printed marketing materials for promotional purposes, provided that none of the Client's personal information is visible. 

 

Tabby Manor agrees not to use content for promotional purposes if the Client's personal information is visible. 

 

The Client reserves the right to revoke this authorization at any time by submitting an email request to allpurrs@tabbymanor.com.

 

 

Termination of Contract and Refusal of Service

Tabby Manor reserves the right to terminate this contract at any time if the Pet Sitter, in his/her sole discretion, determines that the Client’s pet(s) poses a danger to the health or safety of itself, other pets, other people, or the Pet Sitter. 

 

If concerns prohibit the Pet Sitter from caring for the pet, Tabby Manor will attempt to contact the Client to arrange alternative care. If the Client cannot be contacted, the Client authorizes Tabby Manor to place the pet in a licensed kennel with all charges and fees arising to be the responsibility of the Client.

 

Tabby Manor reserves the right to refuse service to any client, at any time, for any reason.

 

 

Changes to this Statement

Tabby Manor reserves the right to change the Terms of Service from time to time. When significant changes are made, the Client will be notified and required to sign the updated Terms of Service. The Client’s continued use of Tabby Manor’s Services after such modifications will constitute the Client’s: (a) acknowledgment of the modified Terms of Service; and (b) agreement to abide and be bound by these Terms.

 

Ongoing Services

The Client authorizes this contract to be valid approval for services so as to permit Tabby Manor to accept all future in person, telephone, online, mail or email reservations and provide services without additional signed contracts or written authorizations.

 

The Terms of this document apply to all pets owned by the client, including any and all new pets that the customer obtains on or after the date this document was signed.

 

 

Agreement to Terms of Service

By accepting services provided by Tabby Manor, the Client agrees that they have read the above terms and conditions. The Client acknowledges that they know, understand and agree to all terms stated above. By accepting services provided by Tabby Manor, the Client accepts these terms and conditions as a contractual agreement.
