Dedicated Clinic Assistant & Care Specialist
I've been pet-sitting for nearly 20 years, and in the last two years have honed many helpful medical skills. When I moved to San Diego in 2022, I dove head first into all things cat. I started volunteering with Orphan Kitten Club, caring for foster kittens in their clubhouse and doing TNR, then became a Feral Cat Coalition volunteer, and eventually a part-time FCC clinic assistant. I also care for two feral cat colonies, have bottle fed kittens, and have taken advanced workshops on neonatal kitten care.
While I have interacted with many cats, I still appreciate each one as an individual. I am patient and want to meet them where they are. Some are huge cuddlers, and some are only to be admired from afar. I give each cat the opportunity to tell me how best to care for them, and understand that may look different day-to-day or evolve over time.
When I am with a client's pets, they have my full attention. I am very detail-oriented and want to ensure that clients feel confident that their cat/s will receive as excellent of care with me as if they were home themselves. I am not "above" any task and know that caring for living creatures means responsibilities may evolve at any point. No request is silly or "too much"—if your cat needs to be brushed exactly 8 times before eating, only drinks from the sink, needs to be hand-fed their dry food like you're a human PEZ dispenser, or something else, I will follow your instructions to the letter.

Lifelong Animal Lover & Specialized Feline Caregiver
I have 2 cats; a "void" named Obsidian (Obi) who is about 8 years old and a red tabby named Oscar who is 2.5 years old. I have been a life-long animal lover, but fell deeply in love with felines specifically after adopting Obi in 2020. Obi is my medically needy boy and receives subcutaneous allergen injections, oral medications, and an inhaler to help manage his severe allergies. Obi and Oscar have very distinct personalities and preferences. Obi is the biggest cuddler, loves to be petted constantly, and often purrs as soon as you touch him. Oscar, who we adopted when he was ~2 months old, has endless energy and occasional ownership of the orange cat community brain cell. He’s very particular about his daily routine and only likes to be petted on his timeline and terms, but loves kisses. In addition to my two cats, my personal pets have included dogs, turtles, lizards, and fish.
I am a public relations consultant, primarily for technology companies, and have worked remotely for more than a decade. I am also a part-time clinic assistant at Feral Cat Coalition. As a FCC clinic assistant and an Orphan Kitten Club volunteer, I have fed, socialized, bathed, medicated, cleaned up after, and adored many cats and kittens. This has included writing detailed observations on their symptoms, behavior, quality of stool, preferences, and personalities. I also enjoy being kitty “pawparazzi.” I have completed safe animal training with SD Humane Society and attended Kitten Lady (Hannah Shaw)'s Advanced Kitten Care workshop.
I love cats and learning the specific personality, needs, and preferences of each individual. What better way to supplement my income than by spending time caring for these gorgeous creatures? I am so excited to get to know each and every one of your purrbabies and look forward to meeting you!
