Harness Training for Cats
Tabby Manor offers harness training in partnership with
" The training is designed to progress at your and your cat's pace. The program takes you from the basics of cat conditioning to getting your kitty to embrace the harness and leash. We guide you along the way and even join you for their first outdoor experience!"
Package includes 5 sessions
SESSION 1
Intro to harness training
Goal to advance to next session:
Kitty will be able to respond to conditioning and get familiar with the harness, leash and carrier
SESSION 2
Getting kitty used to the harness
Goal to advance to next session:
Kitty will be able to wear a properly fitted harness for a short period of time. Is not afraid of the carrier.
SESSION 3
Embracing the harness
Goal to advance to next session:
Kitty will be able to jump, play, sleep with the harness and carrier.
SESSION 4
Intro to leash
Goal to advance to next session:
Kitty will be able to walk on a leash with you around the house. Sees the carrier as a safe place.
SESSION 5
Outdoor practice
Goal for final session:
Kitty will be able to explore the outdoors with you!

Different cats learn at different paces. It is important to give your cat the time they need to feel comfortable and confident as they progress through the training course. Once you purchase the course package, you can schedule each session as kitty masters each skill.
